At Springland care

We provide supported living service for adults with learning disability, autism and mental health.

At Springland Care, we pride ourselves on the standard of care that we deliver. We believe that it is our attention to detail that sets us apart from any other company.  The service users’ needs and wishes are continuously maintained through close contact and our quality assurance processes.  We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

How do we achieve these?

  • By completing a comprehensive needs assessment, which will involve the important people in the service user’s life.
  • By ensuring that service users are supported to their health appointment where required.
  • By completing a comprehensive support plan.
  • By encouraging service users to take part in the development of the service through service user’s meeting.
  • By working with individual support plan that has been agreed with the service user.
  • By ensuring that all service users are treated with respect and dignity.
  • By ensuring that all staff are trained and competent to carry out their duties.
  • By ensuring that service users are supported to access community functions and activities available to the wider community if the service users wish to attend.
  • By completing audit which includes audit for health and safety such as fire, environment, equipment, medication, finance, care plan
  • By completing staff meeting, supervision and appraisal regularly.

Quality Assurance

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission. This means that we are regularly checked by an independent body to make sure the care and support we provide meets essential criteria and national standards. Staff at Springland Care are committed to providing a high quality service. During your time with us you will have regular reviews and continuous support. We also audit our services regularly to ensure quality service delivery.

The management team at Springland Care pride themselves on a comprehensive assessment system taking into account every minor detail in order to compile a first class care plan to meet the service users’ needs.  Every service user’s needs and wishes are recorded and form the basis of the delivery of service which is maintained throughout your time with us.

We believe communication is the key to providing a good service. In addition to this, annual questionnaires are sent to you as your opinion matters to us. We believe that quality can only be achieved on continuous improvement through self critical assessment by those in the best position to judge.

We:

  • Ensure quality throughout the organization through regular audit.
  • Include all areas of care and support we provide to customers.
  • Take into account all legislative work, quality, safety and customers’ rights and opinions at every stage and aspect of our work.
  • Recruit people with the skills and provide training where required to ensure we provide the best possible service.
  • Train our existing staff to improve the skills and broaden the scope of what they can offer to customers and the organisation.

The team consists of an experienced staff with Masters Degree, Bsc in Health and Social Care, Foundation Degree in Health and Social Care, Diploma and National Vocational Qualified carers. Most of our Care Team is recruited from the local area.

Every member of staff are trained to support service users with the aim of enabling them to enjoy a good quality of life by ensuring a safe, manageable and comfortable environment. In addition, our Care Team offers support to help the people we support maximise their potential.
